This is Rufus on the day we adopted him. We had no idea he was suffering from pneumonia AND distemper! Our own vet told us not to expect him to live through the night. We decided to see what happened, because we were already in love with this poor, sick, abandoned puppy. He grew up to be a beautiful, healthy, sweet dog.
