Crabapples have the most beautiful blooms of all, IMHO.

First Rose of 2002
This is from a McCartney rose bush that I bought at the end of the season a few years back. It grows to about ten feet, maybe more, and decadently blooms from May until November! This photo was taken with the Olympus E-100 RS.

The Last Rose Of Summer
Sooo soft. One of my last McCartney roses for the year 2003.

Pretty On Blue
I played around with this in Photoshop to make it a little more interesting. The leaves on this plant are less than one half inch in diameter.

Pink Clematis
Or perhaps I should call it "Barely Pink Clematis".

Pink Explosion
My beautiful, beautiful peonies. These flowers are ridiculously easy to grow!

Willa's Favorite
I love my peonies as much as my roses. Well, I think I love them more. Can you tell that pink is my favorite color?
June 2002
Willa's Tea Rose
These grow all over the entrance arbor to my front yard. I love their delicate color.

Magnolia
They only last a few days. I got this one the day after it opened. It looks like a featherbed for a bee to me! POTD, May 5, 2003, BestFoto.com.

One of the little beauties I have on my front path arbor. 'Tea' roses.

Floating Lilies
I like that you can see the bottom of the pond here. I was amazed at the clarity of the water because there were so many creatures in there stirring things up.

Pink McCartney Rose From My Garden
These rose petals feel as soft and silky as they look.

Sweatin Pink
Tulips (obviously!). Taken this morning in my front yard.

Luscious.
A little dark, but it was early in the morning on a very cloudy day.

Iced Pink
Accidentally broken off, so I threw it in the sink and snapped the photo.

Signs Of Spring
I love the way magnolia trees LOOK. But you can keep their fragrance! WAY too strong for my taste. The delicate variations of pink, and the silvery greens, well, what can I say? It looks like a big tulip tree!

A Tulip's Face
Ever see the movie, "Little Shop of Horrors"? Feed me, Seymour! FEED ME!

Crab Apples
This is a little crab apple tree that I planted in my back yard. I love the way it looks in EVERY season.

Bug Shot
I'm too bug-a-phobic to do many insect shots. This guy was very, VERY tiny. These are blooms from a hydrangea bush.

Rain Kissed Crab Apples
I love this little crab apple tree. It looks darling in every season, and look how pretty, drenched in rain!

Finally Open
My magnolia tree. The flowers look like huge tulips before they open, and the blossoms only last a day or two. The fragrance is a bit strong for my liking, but they sure are pretty. The blossoms are bigger than my hands!

Day Lily
These grow like wild fire in my yard.
May 2002
White Lilac
Some folks call this a 'snowball' bush.

Paper Whites
Actually, I have no idea what these flowers are called. They are some sort of ornamental grass, and they are beautiful, especially at night when they reflect the moonlight.

Pink & Purple Primroses
Psychedelic, huh? I think it sort of looks like that famous casino ceiling ...
Pink Beauties
I love the delicate color and shape of these flowers. This image is dedicated to my friend, Laura, who is steadfast and strong, brave and free.
