|Message from Wildlife Images
Welcome to the Image Library component of Wildlife Images. Our website can be found at www.wildlifeimages.com.au The ever growing library currently contains some 100,000 natural history images of which ~17,500 are posted here. Coverage includes mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and their habitats. Images are from Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia (China, Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Peninsula Malaysia and Borneo). Our collections of Australian bird images (824 species photographed) and mammal images (170 species photographed) are by far the most comprehensive for the region. The Albatross (www.pbase.com/wildlifeimages/albatross) and Kangaroo and wallaby (www.pbase.com/wildlifeimages/kangaroos_and_wallabies) galleries are good examples of what we have to offer.
Most images are held as high-resolution tiffs, captured as RAW images with Canon DSLR bodies and Canon professional lenses. Images with the letter 's' preceding the four digit string (i.e. s0024) were captured on E6 (slide), again with Canon equipment, and have been scanned with a Nikon Super Coolscan 4000.
All displayed images are for sale and license for commercial use in brochures, reports, advertising, calendars, editorial, travel, fine art and website use. Contact us to discuss conditions and rates. We do not provide images for free but will consider discounts for bulk orders or where the images are being used directly in targeted conservation programs.
