This is a mole cricket. It is a cricket that tunnels under the soil. I don't know what species it is but do know that one species in Europe is endangered due to habitat destruction. This species may feed on other insects. In the US most species tend to be pests as they either feed on insects or plant roots, but no matter what they feed on, they tunnel under turf and destroy it by disrupting root-soil contact and roots dry out. A particular problem on golf courses. The front legs are well-adapted for digging. Flying adults are often attracted to lights. Nice shot.
