you have done an amazing job of depicting the true spirit of this region. Having spent early part of my youth here; I see these pictures and it feels like yesterday, although I have now been away in US for more than 25 years. It is the most honest pictorial depiction of these places and one see your talent in the way you capture the faces of the locals.

I have visited many places in Bilaspur district. Earlier it was part of Madhya Pradesh state, but now its under Chhatisgarh state. The people here are simple and hard working, many are from tribal areas / forests. The state got its name from Chhatisgarh meaning 36 forts. This area is rich in minerals, there are cement plants, Bauxite & thermal power plants. I wonder what brings you to this remote part of India? Nice pictures depicting the local population, flora & fauna - Sougata

after visiting every picture of chhattisgarh gallery, i could say that no lacal photographer has developed such rich portfolio on these subjects.
