This place was awsome to visit. It is the only coliseum that is mainly intact in existance. The rest are falling apart compared to this one. They were to hold a concert there that evening so I was running amok taking shots and ended up getting kicked out anyway. :-) The scene in the movie Titus with Anthony Hopkins, where the Roman soldiers come marching in from all entrances in the coliseum was filmed at this location. The actors playing the Roman soldiers were in fact all Croatian police from the Police Academy. They were the ones who created their strange march into the coliseum in the movie. Go see it.. it's interesting.
