Olympia, WA view map

This is the Christoper. Thought that this would be a good way to start the month with several meanings of "On the other side".

The view of the boat is from the Other Side - the back.

The boat is named for a former boy scout that I worked with. Christopher as his father said.
Chris had a heart transplant at about 15 years old. He got cancer caused by the medications from the anti-rejection drugs. Chris is on the Other Side now. His ashes were spread around the world as his brother sailed around. The family has not healed as of yet. I took the pictures of the father's second wedding a week ago.

The point is that On the Other Side could have several meanings. This starts my month.

this is a moving image, with a very moving story that goes along with it.
i, too, was at "the other side" in the past two weeks, in more ways than one,
and may eventually join in with this theme.
RIP Christopher.

Profound meanings come from marking moments.

Very meaningful entry, great tribute. You got the dinghy from the bottom too, sort of the other side :o)
