Just over 2 weeks ago, while trimming the vines on our house,
we discovered a nest of house finches with 5 eggs.
The very next day, all 5 eggs hatched
and we were able to share in the very fast development of these hatchlings.
Luckily, the nest was located right outside our dining room window,
giving us a perfect view of this drama.
While these pictures aren't the best, they serve to document what we were so fortunate to witness.
Update: day 20. I miss them terribly and hope they are all doing well.
