Important Kitchen Message! Framed vs Frameless!!!

I urge you to learn about framed vs. frameless cabinets!

With framed cabinets, the uppers are the same, but you will lose storage space in the

base cabinets that have drawers and pullouts

The drawers/pullouts have to clear the frame,

so they are narrower. If the hardware is side mounted, even more space

is lost. The drawers are also shallower, since the frame

goes all the way around the drawer opening. If you have a big

kitchen, this may not matter. My kitchen is 10' x 12' and

IT MATTERS! Look at my pics for illustration, and be sure

and see the cabs you want in person before

you decide. The pics have more info below them when you click to enlarge.

P.S. Not ALL framed cabinets have drawers quite
as shallow as mine, which were made by SCHROCK. Take a tape measure with you and make notes :)
