Dear Bill
I enjoyd very much looking at your photos from the Greenland Dye stations. I am an archaeologist working at the National Museum of Denmark,
Currently I am doing some ‘desk top archaeology’ making a an overview of structures from the Cold War in collaboration with my colleagues at the Greenland national Museum in Nuuk.
In this process I came across your homepage with nice pictures, from many places in Greenland. I am in particular interested in your pictures from the Dye stations.
I would be very happy if you would allow me to use some of your pictures in the publications about the Dye stations etc. It is purely non profit, and obviously I will bring full credits to you if possible.

The photos that have my interest are F131, F135, F151 and F152. However to be used in printed publications I will need the photos in larger resolution than available on your home page. I would therefore be very gratefull if you could send me the mentioned photos in high resolution?

I am sorry to bother you with this problem but it is a sort of difficult finding good photographs from the Dye stations. Now Dye 1 is compleetly dismantled, only the concrete foundations remain!!

Best wishes Jens

Hi Bill, I hope you still monitor your guestbook. I just found your pbase postings via an entry in Teri Dykes' Dewline Doings newsletter from 'way back in 2005. I'm an old Dewliner from the 1965-90 era in Alaska. I've never worked in Greenland but I have a few friends who were on the Dewline there. Perhaps you know them? If you get this message, please answer to cpbeckmann@aol.com. Thanks! Clive Beckmann, Gilbert, AZ P.S. - I lived near Ft Lauderdale for ten years, so we were neighbors. :-)
