Ok, we all know that Southern California doesn't really have seasons, but a touch of fall can be found nonetheless. I went for a quick afternoon stroll in a local canyon for a test drive of my (almost) brand new DRebel. All pictures were taken with the 18-55 kit lens. I think the kit lens is more capable (certainly for its price) than the bad rep it gets in some places. As far as image processing, all pictures were taken in raw, and went through a few quick adjustments in C1 LE (mostly exposure checks) and PS Elements 2 (bit of contrast and saturation enhancements).
