Mission Espirito Santo

This mission located in Sequin, Texas was established in 1722 and thrived until about 1830 when it was abandoned. It fell into disrepair and in the 1930s there was nothing left but a few limestone walls. The Works Progress Administration and CCC rebuilt the mission in 1935 and 1936.
