I live in Florida, but have a condo. in Hendersonville, N.C. I spend as much time there as I can and much of that is spent hiking to waterfalls. Thanks for the beautiful photos.

I have spent hours on your site reading and just taking in the breath-taking photos. I moved down here in August with my wife for an internship and will be moving this August back up to Wisconsin. Because of your website I have been able to see much more than what I originally thought. My goal is to visit at least 50 different waterfalls. I've got 10 down and now since it is spring I'm ready for many more. Thank you so much.

My husband and I recently purchased a mountain lot near Asheville. I have been searching for attractions in this area and found your photos and detailed information of waterfalls. I have a weakness for watefalls of any kind and am starting my own collection. The images here are excellent. However, I would like to see some with a faster shutter speed. The "ribbon" effect is nice, but post some with the droplets stopped in their tracks.

Breath-taking views! Words fail to do justice to such beauty that inevitably is a very clear manifestation of God's Grace and Handiwork. Yet man is so confused that he does not want to attribute such specatcular and maginficent work to God. How many tornadoes do you need to sweep across a junkyard to assemble a boeing 747? Okay, let me rewrite the comment a little better. I am taking classes to learn how to build web pages. I wanted to base my web site on "Spring Is Here". So I put a page for flowers, butterflies, etc. Then I tried to think of something else that would go with spring/summer. Ah! Taking a trip to a place with nice waterfalls. Well nice is not the word. As I said in my previous comment, these photos are breath taking. I didn't know that we had waterfalls this beautiful so close to me. When I am finish I will email you my site. I don't know if it will look as good as yours but I try to show your pictures as best as I can.

wow these pictures are amazing. we tried to get to that upper overlook of flat creek falls yesterday, but ended up lost out there. we did get to the base, and it had to be one of the most amazing waterfalls i have ever seen. after ending up at Bear Lake, thoroughly lost, we made it back to Rock Bridge Road around 8pm. Be careful out in dem woods!

Thanks - a friend of mine took me to that overlook for Flat Creek Falls. I think Kevin Adams had told him about it. There's no trail and it was very difficult to find.

What a truely inspiring, heartstopping site you have going here. I am an eager, excited ametuer photographer. I am never without my camera. I have a question...I recently visited Cherokee, NC for a short fishing trip, on our way down Big Cove Rd we visited Mingo Falls. Breathtaking! More so was what I found in my photo that I didn't see with the naked eye...an Indian looking over the falls. It is amazing! Have you ever heard this before? I have looked at other photos and haven't seen him there either. I look forward to hearing from you.

You really should make a photo book out of your photos, got to be a market for it out there. Very nice! I know from my own experiece, that photographing waterfalls can be a challenge...too much water, not enough water, ticks, poison ivy, and long hikes only to find dense vegetation blocking your view. Nice Work!! Perhaps you should consider a book like Tim Ernst has done with his called (Arkansas Waterfalls Guidebook...How To Find 133 Spectacular Waterfalls & Cascades in "The Natural State").

Very lovely photography! While I love them all, I would have to say my favorites are the two shots of Rhapsodie Falls. I feel as though I am standing 'neath them, enjoying the spray upon my face.
