This is the bottom section of The Narrows. Since it was now around noon, we decided to eat lunch. Skies had been fair up until now, but some dark clouds were rolling in fast. Open sloping bedrock is not a good place to be when it's raining. Just as we finished munching, the skies opened up. We really need the rain around here, but not now. It didn't rain long, but long enough to get everything wet and slippery. We did make it back safely and just as we got back to Toxaway Falls, it started raining again. I had hoped to get out on the falls for some closer shots, but that would have to be another day.
