One good thing about living in this area is I don't have to go away on vacation - I'm already here! There are so many places I haven't been to - today's adventure was another excellent example. Many of you know about the new Chimney Rock State Park. Some of the acquired land lies in between Chimney Rock and Cane Creek Mountains and includes Pool and Wolf Creeks and World's Edge. World's Edge is part of the Blue Ridge Escarpment and has a mile long set of steep slopes. This picture is from a viewing point on top of the ridge looking east along the Rutherford and Polk County lines.
