The Green River Gorge was one of the many areas I haven't gotten to yet. KT was still in town and had called to see if I wanted to get out - ummmm, OK - so I headed over to Cathy's to pick both of them up and off we headed to unexplored territory. Most of the info you need to visit can be found here - http://www.eco-wnc.org/eco_programs.htm - click on the Green River link on the left. We chose the Pulliam Creek Trail down to the Narrows on the Green River. The trail is a gradual downhill for the most part along Pulliam Creek, but there's an extremely steep plunge at the end to get down to the river. Temps had been below freezing all day for a couple of days forming small ice sculptures along the creek.
