The plan for Saturday was to head to Bad Creek power station at Lake Jocassee, drive up Musterground Rd and do the section of the Thompson River from the lake up to where the road crosses the river. There are a lot of hardwoods in this section and we thought a lot of potential for a good color display. On the way down 281 south I stopped at the roadside view of Whitewater Falls. There was very little peak color in this area - bummer. We continued on to Musterground Rd, but found all green around the lake.
