Just around the bend from that scramble trail is the waterfall in Wash Hollow. The first view of the falls is through the trees. This picture is rather busy, but try to imagine being there surrounded by greens, reds, yellows, and the wonderful sound of a cascading stream. Water flow at this time was quite pitiful. In normal flow, the waterfall has several fingers of water flowing over the rock face.
