Like I said earlier, I had no idea what we were going to do on Saturday so I gave Bernie a call Friday evening for ideas. He had been scouting some areas around Overflow Creek in Georgia and had a lead on possible waterfalls on Clear Creek before it empties into Overflow Creek. Sounded like a plan! Harry and I met Bernie at Gorges State Park around 8am and we went from there. Overflow Creek is south of Highlands, NC but we headed down SC107 to Burrells Ford Rd, then over to GA28, then Warwoman Rd, and finally Overflow Creek Rd (FS86). Parking is way up this gravel road at the end of FS86B. This a put in for hardcore whitewater paddlers - the small falls above is their put-in point on west fork of Overflow Creek where FS86B ends.
