We got back on 181 and headed towards the Parkway and Linville Falls. We figured the Parkway would be closed, so we turned left on 183 and headed to the back parking area for Linville. Along the way though, the winds really picked up and the temperature dropped considerably. We parked, got out, then got back in the car and rethought this idea. Instead, we decided to head over to 221 and down to Marion and Toms Creek Falls. I hadn't been in a while and someone had told me that a tree had fallen in the waterfall. As you can see, one has but you can still manage a shot that doesn't include it. The falls had good flow, but looks a lot nicer with green foliage.
