Back in May when Cindy and I met in Cades Cove, we decided to reserve a week in October for a fall shoot. We didn't know back then that our relationship would develop into something very special. This coming week was the week we reserved - finally. Our first night in Cades Cove campground was Monday, but Cindy came in Friday night. She just got her new Nikon D7000 and was really eager to try it out on some fall color. Our main destination today was Maidenhair Falls south of Brevard. A fellow waterfall lover had posted that there was now a very legal way to get to the falls. We got up on the Blue Ridge Parkway first, then headed south down Hwy 276 towards Brevard. On the way down are some cascades along Looking Glass Creek. The foliage was looking pretty colorful, so we made this our first stop.
