The original plan was to hike out to Grassy Ridge for the rhodo display. Since we now knew the blooms weren't happening, we decided to formulate another plan. Instead of going back to Asheville the way we came, I thought about heading south on Hwy 80 towards the Parkway with a stop at Roaring Fork Falls.
