The last shot of the day before heading back is from Hwy 215. I'm not sure how much snow ended up falling. Maggie Valley reported 2 inches which should have been very pretty. Mount Mitchell had 2 inches. Other high elevation areas had an inch or so. Snow and fall color in the same day is a first for me - we were all pretty excited. Now I just have to figure out where the leaf color is this coming week...
