From the waterfall we headed back to the trail and headed up river. This is very typical of what you might expect hiking on trails near streams in the forest. The lower canopy might be the evergreens like rhododendron or laurel while the color you are looking for to shoot is in the canopy above. A lot of this color tends to be the yellows.
