There were a couple of places high up on this road where we kind had a view of the surrounding mountains. We had looked at the map and picked the Palmer Creek Trail to hike. Turned out it wasn't what I was looking for to shoot and after a couple of miles in, we turned around and headed back to the vehicle. Oh well, it was raining anyway.
