It's a good thing the river was low or we might not have been able to rock hop and wade as far as we did. We rounded the bend where the Bynum Bluff Trail comes down to meet the Linville Gorge Trail. There's a camp site there along the river, but unfortunately a group had abandoned all their camping equipment and it was a pile of wet garbage. I guess I could have taken a picture and posted what pigs people can be, but I passed. This shot is of a small falls just around the bend from the camp site. We could see down river a bit and there didn't seem to be much going on, so we decided to hang here and enjoy the scenery before heading back. Plus, there were more wildflowers to shoot...
