I had heard Jumping Off Rock had been closed due to Peregrine falcons nesting, but didn't know a new viewing area had opened up until JC posted an article. This morning seemed like a good time to do it - the light is better and this section of Horsepasture Rd will close again for the season in a couple more weeks. I must say I like the new viewing area better than the other even though the views are similar. This is much safer also. This view looks SW into Oconee County. Directions are to the old viewing area, this one is a very short distance before it and is signed.
