This looks west towards Goldspring Ridge and down in the valley where we were just a while ago. Best light for shooting would be in the morning, but the mid afternoon sun felt really good. To get off of the mountain, we headed back out to the fork and turned left. The map only shows one trail that heads steeply down the mountain, but there are several side trails and I have no idea where these end up. The trail we wanted heads NE and is fairly easy to follow. It ends up at the base of the mountain at a camp site and one of the main trails in Panthertown. Turning left took us across a bridge over Panthertown Creek below Granny Burrell Falls.
