The ice was extremely slippery with a thin layer of melt on top, but the Yaktrax worked like a charm. Hal and Harry had cameras ready if I busted butt, but I came away with pictures and they didn't. I set the timer on my camera and went and stood on a slope to show the gripping power. The only thing I was afraid of was a big chunk of the ice I was standing on breaking away and me floating down the creek.
