Next stop was a waterfall on a tributary of Tanasee Creek. Bernie found it last year and he and Harry gave it the name Horseshoe Falls. As we were walking down the old logging road towards the creek, we heard a big crash in the woods up to our left. Even though temps were in the low 20's, the sun was heating up the rock wall and big chunks of ice were crashing down. By the time we got to the waterfall (pictured here), a lot of the ice had already come down. Water flow here is a narrow ribbon which is falling on that ice mound in the background.
