I had only been to Wiseman's View one time also - and that was 3 cameras ago. To get to the view, take Hwy 183 in Linville Falls to the back parking lot for the waterfall, but continue way up the gravel road that continues past the lot. Quite a few miles up is a well marked left turn to the parking area. There's a killer view of Linville Gorge with Hawksbill and Table Rock mountains in the view. This is Hawksbill.
