oh yes guys you r living in wonderful world beautiful pakistan i have been living in forn for more then six years but i miss my beautiful land in every moment you guys must be lucky living on your own land i m proud on you Allah bless on u and our lovely pakistan Pakistan zindabad

Pakistan is pretty much as safe as any other Asian country, there have been attacks in India but the media paints a different picture and the foreign sports teams and tourists don't have a problem visiting Mumbai after an incident, Pakistan is given a different treatment.

The fighting in North-West Pakistan is a problem, but the Northern Areas Administrative Region is not affected by that. Most people (even Pakistanis) are not aware that North-West Frontier Province (Pathans, Pushtuns) is not the same as Northern Areas Administrative Region (they are not Pathan). Most of the highest mountains in Pakistan are in Northern Areas.

I would recommend that you get advice from trekkers from Western countries who have been / are currently in Pakistan to see what issues they are facing on the ground, if any, and compare how they rate that against other Asian countries.
