Currently the focus of local debate - should it be kept as a perimeter park, football pitches and golf course, or should some of the space by used for a much needed replacement high school and primary school?
Personally I'd rather the a brown field site (such as the old Freightliner rail terminal between the rail lines and Harry Lauder road) was used, but if that's not feasible then a nine hole golf course doesn't seem that worthwhile a use of the space compared to an essential school...
