Went up to Duddingston Village for a late lunch. It's a nice quaint wee village in quite central Edinburgh next to our volcano - Arthur's Seat. It's also home to the Sheep Heid, Scotland's oldest pub (and server of great lunch).
"Established in the 14th century and named after a decorative snuff
box given to the pub by King James VI, the inn's modest cottage-like
exterior and simple oak interior belies the patronage the place has
enjoyed - among them Bonnie Prince Charlie and Mary Queen of Scots"
