Have you ever seen the Pyramids at Cairo? I asked the cab driver to take me to see the pyramids as I had a late night flight so had all day to explore. Nice idea, simple request or so it seemed. Anyway, we meandered around town, I avoided multiple requests to stop at a "shop" owned by a brother, uncle, etc. but was not able to avoid the "tour guide" stop. Anyway, 2 hours of negotiation later found me on my own horse being led by a private guide to the Pyramids! The tour took several hours and was an absolute blast. I only had a disposable point and shoot camera with me, hence the poor image quality, but this was one of the best "tours" I've ever taken. This picture is taken at the end of the tour as a sandstorm is approaching. Once the horse got headed back home he made like a racehorse and galloped all the way back. I just held on for dear life and hoped this sure footed animal knew what he was doing!
