Showing NGC 1977 the large blue reflection nebula in Orion located just above the Great Nebula, M-42

M42 can be seen by the naked eye on very dark sites, easily seen through quality binoculars.

Canon EOS 40D ,Sigma 100-300mm f/4 APO EX DG HSM
Camera & Lens mounted on a 2000mm f/10 celestron CPC 800 XLT GPS schmidt cassegrain telscope guided with an LVI Smart guider camera. The mount is an Orbit Engineering alloy equatorial wedge made buy myself. full exif
