Here you find photos of Mayapur. Mayapur for Hare Krishna movement (ISKCON) is of the same significance as Vatican for Catholics, or Jerusalem for many. Mayapur is a most significant and culturally important holy place, situated in W.Bengal, but it is so much more than just another Indian holy place - it has been a developing International project since 1971 and the Head Quarters of International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), as well as the home of a very diverse international community of people who are interested in living life based on spiritual values. Through all ups and downs this community is striving for success and I feel this is an important human effort to document for the History.
