Flower Power

My House, Bay Farm Island, Alameda, CA

This male and its flock, as well as Yellow-rumped Warblers, really love eating the plum blossoms. They nip the flowers at their base to get the nectar. Often difficult to see, you can tell they are there by the rain of discarded blossoms falling from the tree.
