Sunflowers are always facing the sun, I guess this is one reason they are called sunflowers. The Sunflower birdseed got me stared the first time I went crazy growing
some Sunflowers, but these are wonderful fields of them, great images!

hello my name is gary cullen i have recently sucesssfully grown 8 russian giant mammoth sunflowers here in serbia,this is my first time at growing sunflowers and my wife has a summer house in valjevo basically i was wondering what type of sunflowers are grown in vojvodina as everyone here in valjevo are amazed at the sunflowers i have grown.1 sunflower is 3 metres tall and has produced 25 heads and another is around 3.5 to 3.75 metres tall and the head is huge some 26 cms across.if it is possible to advise me on anything about growing theses as a crop or for ornamental purposes i would be very gratefull as i had obtained the initial seeds from a trip to corfu and of 24 seeds i had i kept 8 for myself and i am the only person who has managed to grow all the seeds. my friends whom i gave several seeds each to have all failed to grow any best wishes gary

To me, sunflowers are quintessential Vojvodina. As a child, I remember watching them pass by while riding the train to visit my grandparents... Makes me very homesick.

Ovo je predivno!!! U svojoj agronomskoj praksi vidjela sam mnoga polja suncokreta - na vasim slikama su upravo onakva kakva su u prirodi... bilo da su okupana suncem ili cekaju kisu.... jednostavno - ziva i carobna... Svaka cast za atmosferu polja - ona se kroz vase slike bas dozivljava!!!!
