Message from Vlad Schlezak
I`ve been shooting for 7 years but more seriously since 2002 when my first dSLR `came across` in my hands: Nikon D70. After one year of shooting with D70, I`ve switched to Canon. Up until now I`m stick with my Canon 20D. As for lenses I have invested all my money and tried many of them from Canon 28-105, Tamron 28-75 to Canon 70-200 4L and Canon 60 2.8. The latter is my only lens now and I`m experiencing a lot with it.
My goal is to reach others here in PBase community and to have a ONE MAN SHOW and some of my photos PUBLISHED in MAGAZINES.
I am originally from the town of Cluj-Napoca, which is the heart of Transilvania. I want to spoil all the fiction and popular misbelieves about Transilvanian teritorry as the land of Dracula and Vampires given by Bram Stoker`s imagination. Hence, I want to show the beauty of this land, the beauty of the inhabitants and their inner feelings.
UPDATE 04/01/08
I have chanched my style of shooting, following the new year`s resolution: more naturality, creative lightning and scenes, less or no flashes and nice pouting are called for.
Regarding my gear, I gave up all my other lenses and I am prone to use my 30D with 17-55 attached.
