This is Dr. Ken Bosworth and his wife Mary Hofle's cabin in the shadow of the Tetons, with Ken himself in the foreground. The most impressive aspect of this cabin is that they built it all by themselves (with some help from their son), except for the foundation. It was built better than the work most Pocatello contractors are capable of, or are willing to do.

By mid-November that region already has a few inches of snow on the ground, as you can see.

Prof. Bosworth is Chairperson of ISU's Computer Science Program, and we the ISU Computer Science professors met there recently to do some of the most boring administrative paperwork imaginable. This work would have been much worse if it hadn't been for the beautiful surroundings, a good meal (a fish Dr. Bosworth caught and cooked), and some good wine.
