I have started to take singing lessons now, with Dr. Diana Livingston-Friedley of my university (ISU)'s Music Department. Things are going great, and one of the assignments given at the end of Lesson 2 is Schubert's setting of "Du bist die Ruh'," which happens to be one of my favorite songs. I photographed this scene last night as a warm-up for the occasion of learning the song! This photograph is completely unedited except for cropping and scaling and of course putting a little bit of the song's text, by Rückert, on it. The full moon and the clouds that lingered around after the rain helped.
