On my way from Pocatello to Calabria, Italy, in late July, 2000, I was hoping to get some good aerial shots of New York with my first digital camera, the Agfa CL50, which boasted a resolution of 1MP -- not bad for someone on a budget. Unfortunately, the New York air was so incredibly polluted that day. I took a few photos anyway, but thought I had deleted all of them to make room for pictures from Italy. But, as things turned out, I forgot to delete them, and so here is a record of the World Trade Center just a little over a year before it was destroyed. I just discovered this photo on a CD labeled "Photos from Calabria," or something like that, today, April 21, 2006.
