Some time in 2006, I went into this store for the first time, and actually met the man who owned and ran it! His name was Fred Cuoio. By that time, he had actually seen this photo. An old friend of his had seen it on the Web, printed it out, and sent the printout to him.
Writing in 2016 -- Fred Cuoio passed away in 2011 at the age of 96, after having run the store for 72 years. The store, like film itself, became history. See http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/idahostatejournal/obituary.aspx?n=fred-cuoio&pid=147603502
As of 2013, a few kinds of film were still available, including Kodak Tri-X and Fuji Velvia 50, Provia. I mourn the loss of Kodachrome and I'm not sure I saw Ektachrome as being still produced either. see http://www.popphoto.com/gear/2013/07/12-films-worth-shooting-theyre-gone
