Western Serviceberry (locally pronounced "sarviceberry"), Amelanchier sp. in the Rose family (Rosaceae), this shrub produces yummy little blue fruits. If you eat them AFTER they have been frozen, the seeds aren't as much in the way as they are before the first frost!
