July 2004: A few days ago I was in California for the wedding reception of our friend Dr. Mark Dombeck, a psychologist and Monica Vigil Dombeck, a lawyer for the Coast Guard. This gallery shows some pictures from the trip. I also took well more than 100 photos at the party itself, but I put most of those in a private gallery elsewhere.

In time I may include photos from my previous (and future) trips to that state on this gallery. I first saw California in 1968, when I was 10. I didn't photograph it, however. That trip included Muir Woods, which I revisited for the first time this time around, arriving at 7:40PM just before closing time.

June, 2006: Since this gallery was created in July 2004 I visited the same couple again, in 2006, on a trip I had to make to get a visa for visiting France. So now, in 2006, I just added a few more photos.

May 29-June 1, 2009: Visiting Rachel Dowling, her boyfriend and friends, Yosemite National Park (for the first time), and revisiting Mark Dombeck.

July 2010: ESRI Users' Conferences, presented a research paper, San Diego Convention Center.
