Apr 1: No Joke

Weston Master IV. In 1963, this was THE meter to own. This is quality. Feel the weight. Feel how smoothly the dial turns. It was expensive and many photographers had to settle for a lesser meter. I bought this one for less than the price of a roll of film, not knowing if it still worked or not. Turns out that at 45 years old it's spot on with my modern high-tech digital Sekonic wondermeter.

The 'IV' was nicer to use that the 'III', not so much a strain on the eyes to read, but the 'III' is still a practical tool. See -
