Sep 28: History

What ever happened to Walkman? It had it all. Great product, great name, great logo... Yeah, I know it got iPoded. I haven't seen one in years, but I do still have – and use my old FM Walkman. No tapes, just radio. It's a great little gadget. Now if Apple were ever to introduce an 'iPod Nano FM', this little Sony would be in deep trouble!

haha. I found one when clearing out a drawer recently (not radio though, just tape) it was the size of a small house - I'm afraid I threw it away - I'm trying to hoard less (not that I'm doing very well at that!).

What a memory. You are so right. And it doesn't surprise me that you have an old one.... your the man who finds and treasures older things and technology.

You can get an addon for the nano that allows you to play radio but like everythinh it costs yet more money, cant beat the good old FM radio tho, far better than TV.
