The camera

This will be the only image in this gallery made with a conventional camera and lens. This is my homemade pinhole camera. It uses 5x4 inch sheet film and cost about £7.50 to build. The main body is a wooden plant pot holder. Much of the rest was found about the house or in the garage.

other sizes: small medium original auto

wonderful david... really wonderful - such a gem!! have you considered a small modification so the camera accepts film holders? at the very least you could expose a few sheets of film and then develop all at one time ;)

Thats a little beauty! What an exciting, project you must be an extremely patient person. Did you have to experiment with the proportions ie the size of the pinhole or proportions of the box?
