Spurs v Chavski. Tough game at the best of times. We haven't beaten the Chelscum in the League for donkey's years. And now, they're possibly the best team in Europe. And today, the ref, one Rob Styles, sent off one of our boys in mid way through the first half. Not good, especially as post match replays show our boy Mido would have been unlucky to get a booking for the incident, while Del Horno, (yes that really is his name) the Chelski player should consider himself lucky not to have got a yellow for his theatrical falling to the ground in fake agony. Anyway, kinda spoiled the game. We were doing alright, maybe the result would have been better than the 0-2 defeat.
But you want to know about the glove right? Well, as is tradition, our goal keeper Paul Robinson always throws his gloves into the crowd at the end of the game. And today, I caught one. Reached my hand into the air and pulled out a glove. This is the glove worn by the best goal keeper in England, and no one touched it between him wearing it, and it being mine!!
ENGLAND'S NO. ONE, ENGLAND'S ENGLAND'S NO. ONE as we sing at the Lane on matchdays...
